Pax Prentiss serves as the co-founder and CEO of Passages Malibu and Passages Ventura. In 2001, Pax and his father, Chris, opened Passages Malibu. Passages Ventura followed in 2009. Their deep desire to save the lives of people who suffer from alcohol and drug dependency resulted in a breakthrough program developed from harrowing firsthand experiences with Pax’s own addictions.
For 10 years, Pax was hooked on heroin, cocaine, and alcohol. Throughout that horrific period, he detoxed at home, went to AA meetings, attended 12-step treatment centers, and tried nearly everything. None of it worked, and Pax realized that it’s not just about stopping the drug and alcohol abuse; it’s about learning "why" you use.
Pax discovered that a program like this didn't exist, so he and Chris created one. Because of it, Pax is 12 years sober today. At Passages, Pax puts every ounce of effort into helping clients heal their core issues and attain a life free from drugs and alcohol. He has also appeared as an addiction expert on CNN, Fox News, Inside Edition, ABC News, The Insider, AskMen.com, Forbes, and many more.
